Premeditated Business Networking

Because…success doesn’t just happen.

Can you tell a “professional visitor” from “someone who really wants to get business done?”

Have you ever met someone, had a brief discussion, then afterwards wondered . . .

  • · What was her/his name again?
  • · What did he/she say she did?
  • · Why would I care?
  • · Did he/she want something?

There are those that dive into a well-rehearsed elevator a runaway train, full speed ahead without regard or understanding of where they are going.

Some people believe in the “throw enough crap at the wall something will stick” approach to selling. But when you are selling yourself, what you do or how you get it done, this method can just leave a real mess to clean up later.

Many business professionals look for business in an Apple Orchard when they should be in the Orange Grove. Would you know if you were in the right place?

When marketing your business to your peers, associates and potential clients they need to be excited to do business with you. Not just know what you do.

In this 3.5 – 4 hour workshop:

  • · Take a quick tour of where you are at now.
  • · Map out your business and strategic partners - creating clarity like never before.
  • · Create a concise marketing plan and set goals.
  • · Learn how to effectively work an event and capitalize on every opportunity.
  • · Many people think business networking is Facebook, LinkedIn or You Tube what role do they play in making connections?
  • · We will tie in Social Networking with Business Conventional Networking and how they work together.

We will learn how to capitalize on the 78% peer recommendation for your products and services.

After this workshop you will have a clear, concise understanding of how to market and communicate your business.

Franklin's Common Council on Tuesday unanimously rejected a proposal to help fund a new baseball stadium at The Rock Sports Complex, citing "multiple unknowns" in the overall plan. The rejection leaves the fate of a proposed $10.5 million Frontier League baseball stadium in question. The Rock CEO Mike Zimmerman had asked the city to create a tax incremental financing district to finance the stadium, saying it would be a catalyst for $100 million in other private development on surrounding land. The…

Pending Bucks sale does not add urgency for 'cultural assets' task force: MMAC
The prospective buyers of the Milwaukee Bucks want a new arena plan completed within the next 12 months, but that should not cause greater urgency for a local task force studying funding for an arena, a convention center expansion and other Milwaukee cultural assets, say leaders of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce. The MMAC convened the 48-member Cultural and Entertainment Capital Needs Task Force, which held its first meeting in December 2013. The task force is not planning…

Lovell's exit bumped up as Mone steps in at UWM
With an interim chancellor named, departing University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee head Mike Lovell's last day is coming sooner than expected. Rather than start at Marquette Aug. 1, as Lovell originally proposed, UW System president Ray Cross said Tuesday that Lovell will leave UWM following commencement, less than a month away on May 18. Cross cited newly named interim chancellor Mark Mone's familiarity with the university's strategic plan and other major operations in explaining the shortened time…

Milwaukee Public Market to reopen Wednesday after fire scare
The Milwaukee Public Market has received the "all clear" to allow people into the building but will remain closed for the rest of Tuesday after a fire scare earlier in the day. The market at 400 N.
