Workshop

Premeditated Business Networking

Because…success doesn’t just happen.

Can you tell a “professional visitor” from “someone who really wants to get business done?”

Have you ever met someone, had a brief discussion, then afterwards wondered . . .

  • · What was her/his name again?
  • · What did he/she say she did?
  • · Why would I care?
  • · Did he/she want something?

There are those that dive into a well-rehearsed elevator pitch....like a runaway train, full speed ahead without regard or understanding of where they are going.

Some people believe in the “throw enough crap at the wall something will stick” approach to selling. But when you are selling yourself, what you do or how you get it done, this method can just leave a real mess to clean up later.

Many business professionals look for business in an Apple Orchard when they should be in the Orange Grove. Would you know if you were in the right place?

When marketing your business to your peers, associates and potential clients they need to be excited to do business with you. Not just know what you do.

In this 3.5 – 4 hour workshop:

  • · You will learn how to market your business and build a team of strategic sales professionals that work together.
  • · Take a quick tour of where you are at now.
  • · Map out your business and strategic partners - creating clarity like never before.
  • · Create a concise marketing plan and set goals.
  • · Learn how to effectively work an event and capitalize on every opportunity.
  • · Many people think business networking is Facebook, LinkedIn or You Tube what role do they play in making connections?
  • · We will tie in Social Networking with Business Conventional Networking and how they work together.

We will learn how to capitalize on the 78% peer recommendation for your products and services.

After this workshop you will have a clear, concise understanding of how to market and communicate your business.

Because Knowledge Is Your Power,

Rita

Ribbon-cutting ceremonies are moments prone to hyperbole, but what Gordon Knapp said Wednesday hardly seems to be an exaggeration. "We look forward to calling Nashville home for the next 50 years," said Knapp, the president and CEO of Bridgestone Americas, which formally unveiled its 30-story headquarters tower. The $200 million building is the fifth-largest office tower downtown, imprinting the Bridgestone name in the skyline. As big as it is, two floors of the building are empty, with the potential…

The number of people killed in motor vehicle crashes in the U.S. last year: 37,461. The number of people killed in crashes that involved large trucks: 4,317. The percentage of people killed in large truck crashes that were not occupants of the truck: 72.4 percent. Those statistics — from a 2017 report by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) — showed a jump from 2015, both in total vehicle fatalities as well as fatalities involving large trucks. Now, Congressman Steve…

Bridgestone can't wait, extends naming-rights deal for Predators' home
Officials with Bridgestone Americas used the christening of their Nashville tower to reveal that they've strengthened their hold on the other downtown building that first put their name in bright lights. The arena where the Nashville Predators play hockey will continue to bear Bridgestone's name through 2025, the company and top hockey club officials announced Wednesday. Bridgestone secured the naming rights in March 2010, not long after new local ownership bought in and prevented the franchise…

Airport board welcomes new CEO, denies severance to his ousted predecessor
The Nashville International Airport officially has a new chief, just as the fast-growing transportation hub launches into litigation with ousted CEO Rob Wigington. The decision to make Kreulen's status as airport CEO permanent came during the Metro Nashville Airport Authority board's regular December meeting Wednesday.
