Lowe’s Cos. Inc. employees — 500 of them — got a taste of assembly-line production within a few steps from their regular jobs at the retailer's Mooresville headquarters Friday morning. Five teams of 100 workers built a total of 100 bunkbeds and matched them with mattresses to be donated to needy children in the Charlotte region.
