Genie Network
From the President’s Desk: Business Mentoring
Introducing the new Genie Network – Networking for the 21st Century.
Mentoring from successful business people who know and understand your business challenges.
I have always been active in business networking. Developing strong, supportive, relationships with my core 20+ people has brought much success to all. These people became lifelong friends, mentors, and coaches. And their advice, propelled my careers.
Because of skills and knowledge I learned through my networking club, I was in the top three national sales person in several corporations. I personally qualified for the Presidents Circle in six months! In another job I qualified for the Circle of Excellence. These pretentious awards were earned by my hard work, but much of my success came from working smarter – using the synergy of many minds rather than doing it all by myself.
What started as a marketing tool, I called the “Resource Group,” grew into a vision of what business networking could truly accomplish. That vision took on shape when I became the founder and past President of an international networking organization. Now I want to share the best kept secrets of networking I have learned.
My life experience, and my experience as an educator in Business Networking/Marketing since 1993, are now available to you online to build your own business.
In the “about us” section I share my personal story of survival from cancer and the power of my networking club.
Welcome to the club.

When I was in Hong Kong a few weeks ago on vacation, I ran into Iain Reed, a veteran in financial research and an entrepreneur whose company creates financial data management software. Over dinner with a few friends, he mentioned he was starting Southeast Asia’s TiE chapter and would be at the global TiE conference, May 18-19 in Santa Clara.
Fast forward a few weeks, and I met up with him at the opening night reception with some of his other charter members....
